Every year this notable and important work grows in interest and authority; the different sections are written by the leading authorities on these subjects in the United kingdom and elsewhere; the subject matter is concisely presented, but with a wealth of illustrations, admirably executed; the volume is essentially one for the family doctor, to keep him abreast of new developments in medicine, surgery, and specialised subjects.
